Description
I drew this from a photo I took several years ago in Arizona. This pueblo ruin was protected from the weather by a ramada, a very tall metal structure erected above it in 1932. It was associated with Hohokam culture built in the thirteenth century and abandoned before 1450 A.D. It was close to Casa Grande, Arizona. I usually stayed in the town of Casa Grande on my trips to the southwest several different winters. I love that town. The words "casa grande" are Spanish for "big house". .
